June 7th - A little relaxing!

Only a few students were needed to compile all of our data early this morning. The rest of us didn't have to be to school until noon. Sadly, I still woke up by about 7, but it was nice not to wake up to an alarm. Our walk that usually takes about 25 minutes was set to a nice 45 minute pace. On our way we took pictures of the bugs we saw on the way to school... I will post these at a later date. We finished by about 6pm and were able to enjoy some time downtown while it was still light out. It was great to relax a bit!

This is Ulises. He speaks English and we sometimes stop for a drink on our way to or from school.
Sandwiches! Nothing like a good ham and cheese sandwich! Thanks Caroline, Armando, and Marlene for putting these together!

Thank you Marina, for cutting up our yummy avocados!

This is some artwork that we pass on the way to and from school.
When I am with God my innocence is restored and my iniquity removed.
(I think)

The hot chocolate has a bit of cinnamon in it.... It sort of tastes like chocolate covered cinnamon bears.

Nothing like a warm churro and a hot chocolate for a cold rainy day!
